Our Board has been undertaking “Diverciti” Training as part of an effort to become more culturally competent and inclusive as an organization. It is quite hard as we are in a pretty homogenous environment so this has been a good exercise for us to challenge the group think and to act in a much more inclusive way in Board meetings and in evaluating feedback. I will look forward to reviewing some of these exercises to complement the training we have undertaken already and to add it to the Board Retreat and forthcoming strategic planning next year
